IDR is seeking a Accounts Payable Clerk to join one of our top clients for a location in Manasquan, NJ. This role is within a dynamic accounting team supporting the company's financial operations and vendor management. The company operates within the finance and accounting industry, focusing on accurate processing of payables and maintaining strong financial controls.
Position Overview for the Accounts Payable Clerk:
- Responsible for accurately processing and recording company payables
- Ensure vendors are paid on time and maintain accurate financial records
- Verify invoices, reconcile accounts, and support month-end closing activities
- Support compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
Requirements for the Accounts Payable Clerk:
- 1+ year of experience in accounts payable, accounting or related finance role
- Knowledge of 1099 reporting requirements
- Experience using an ERP system (NetSuite preferred, SAP a plus)
- Ability to verify invoices and perform three-way matches
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
