Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Implementation Specialist:The Accounts Payable Implementation Specialist will play a critical role in supporting a major GEP system implementation with a strong focus on SAP Accounts Payable. This individual will serve as a hands-on AP leader, providing expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication during the ongoing system transformation.
Required Skills for the Accounts Payable Implementation Specialist:- 5+ years in SAP Accounts Payable (invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliation, vendor management).
- 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role, with experience overseeing either onshore or offshore resources.
- 3+ years of experience performing UAT/system testing, defect resolution, and troubleshooting in AP/Procure-to-Pay environments.
- Experience completing full lifecycle system implementations (SAP AP mandatory; Ariba and OpenText strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to act as an SME during go-live support, including stakeholder communication, end-user training, and issue resolution.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly desirable, with proven ability to support bilingual user groups.
