IDR is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New Jersey. This company operates within the manufacturing and retail sectors, focusing on providing exceptional customer support to enhance client satisfaction and streamline order processing. This role involves managing customer inquiries and maintaining accurate documentation to support business operations.
Position Overview for the Customer Service Representative:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person in a timely and courteous manner
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, policies, and procedures
- Resolve customer concerns, complaints, or issues effectively, escalating when necessary
- Process customer orders, returns, refunds, exchanges, or service requests accurately
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records and interaction logs
Requirements for the Customer Service Representative:
- 2+ years’ experience in a customer service role in the retail/manufacturing industry
- Professional experience utilizing ERPs (SAP, NetSuite, or NDS)
- Experience providing customer support via phone, email, and in-person
- Must have knowledge of EDI order entry (specifically for NJ role)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
