IDR is seeking a Enterprise Data Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role focuses on modernizing legacy systems within a healthcare or government agency environment, emphasizing cloud-native architecture and data management practices. Position Overview for the Enterprise Data Architect:

• Responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Lead efforts in optimizing database performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery strategies, and maintaining secure cloud deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate agile delivery and uphold architectural governance.
• Possess expertise in Oracle, AWS, and cloud-native database services to support modernization objectives.
• Support the organization’s transformation initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics.

Requirements for the Enterprise Data Architect:

• Experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Proficient in Oracle Database architecture, administration, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) configuration and management.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL, PL/SQL, procedures, and performance-optimized queries.
