We are hiring a Machine Operator (Letter Mold Maker) on our 2nd shift in Taylor, TX. Starting pay is $22.06 per hour, experience considered. Pay includes 10% shift differential.
Pay Range - $22.06 - 26.54 Schedule - 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday. Overtime scheduled as needed. Type - Full Time Location - Taylor, TX
A day in the life of a Machine Operator (Letter Mold Maker) at Gemini includes, but not limited to:
Reviews work orders to ensure familiarization with job requirements and discusses requirements with team members.
Able to program layouts for production as needed. Capable of using software to determine cutting paths, speeds, passes, & tools size for production along with generating routing paths for tooling.
Ability to utilize shop tools such as grinders, saws, and hand tools to complete wooden molds.
Repairs broken molds in a timely manner to assure a minimum of disruption of the molding process.
May develop mold components, ensuring that all parts fit together without apparent seams.
Inspects work periodically and upon completion of the mold to ensure dimensional compliance with work order.
Perform routine operator maintenance to equipment & set up of equipment.
The work environment is clean, bright, and hot around equipment.
Reporting to our Plant Supervisor
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent demonstrated competency through work experience.
Above average skills in communication, interpersonal relationships, & customer service.
Well organized, with good software skills and familiarity with computer database usage and internet file transfer.
Ability to learn & utilize CAD/CAM & graphics software.
