Position Overview & Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:
- Provide comprehensive support for computer networks and networking systems
- Handle installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal network downtime
- Diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently
- Document network software, hardware, and communication links
- Offer end-user support and training as needed, including escalation of issues
Required Skills for the Network Engineer:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, or 4 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer
- Hands-on knowledge of installation, implementation, and maintenance of Cisco networking equipment
- Cisco Certified Network Analyst (CCNA) certification is preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
