Process, audit, and reconcile high-volume payrolls for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all state and union regulations.
Review and approve timekeeping records, retroactive payments, pay adjustments, and final termination checks.
Support ongoing Kronos system testing and integration with Workday, validating configuration changes and troubleshooting issues.
Research and resolve escalated payroll discrepancies while providing guidance to payroll staff.
Partner with HRIS, Timekeeping, and Finance teams to ensure consistency and process accuracy during leadership transitions.
Document all configuration updates, testing results, and process changes for audit readiness and transparency.
4–5+ years of hands-on payroll processing in a large Healthcare organization (20,000+ employees).
Proven experience with Kronos and Workday payroll systems (required).
Strong knowledge of California payroll compliance, including final pay, overtime, and leave requirements.
Experience processing union payrolls and understanding collective bargaining agreements.
Skilled in payroll adjustments, retro pay, and reconciliation.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Ability to work standard Pacific Time hours.
Familiarity with UKG Absence Management.
Experience supporting payroll systems during testing, migrations, or leadership transitions.
